LTS Syrstad Complete (SCS) & Tips
The new LTS SCS line and tips are made for the most efficient, easy casting and far reaching fishing for salmon and steelhead.
This is made possible by reducing the diameter of the shooting head, while retaining the needed line weight.
Particularly for float and intermediate lines, this is really important to minimize air resistance.
Coatings on the lines are soft in combination with the inner core that has a similar stretch. This results in lines that are very stable, completely free of vibration, even with high speed and power are applied in the cast.
The different tapered tips have approximately equal weight, regardless of the sink rate. The delicate tapering allows a silky smooth presentation, even with the use of short leader or tippet (3-5ft of regular tippet material is sufficient)
While the tips help to make many different line combinations with different sink rates (Float, int, s2, s4, s6, s8), the interchangeable tips help make LTS SCS cast a very long distance. The shooting head constantly moves energy forward to the tapered tips, which at the same time slows the turnover, so that the cast feels like the line never lands on the water, with just the fly is landing by itself, even on low trajectory casts.
