"I have established production of fly fishing leather accessories in 2015. Starting with experiments with leather and making first accessories for myself learning the techniques and different methods of leather craftsmanship and arts step by step I have improved the techniques and found my own approach which become a base for the design of my leather accessories. Now I am constantly making new designs and new series of fly fishing accessories fulfilling different angler demands.     Fly fishing accessories are made by hand, using genuine leather, quality materials, creativity, skills and passion. The aim is to rise up highest emotional value of fly fishing accessories through the prism of Art. 
  Art Merk is my nickname (the short version of my full name) and I am presenting myself as one person company, as everything is made in my cozy tiny studio from scratch, literally."

The CONCEPT of ULTIMATE FLY WALLET COLLECTION
After many years of making fly wallets and using them in practice, Art Merk came up with this concept and patent protected invention: 

- Sides are hardened, therefore fly wallets performs like boxes; this is the key invention, as leather fly wallet now is with hardened, stiff sides, so it protects the flies inside and maintain its shape, while remaining flexible at the bending area. So now the fly wallets are practical as regular fly boxes, but with more spirit and beautifully made by hand. THIS IS PATENT PROTECTED INVENTION.
- Borders. It is second key invention of the fly wallets Art made. These borders help to maintain nice ellipse shape for the fly wallets and keep the space inside, which is very important to remain the shape for the hook flies. - no extra weight (making hardened sides)
- Non rust pins
- Leather is impregnated for water resistance
